10/15-18/19
Langley Fine Arts participated in the Canada wide student vote that took place from October 15-18th. Rowan from Green Team took on the organizing role and the team were there to support her. It was a major success with grades 6-10 participating.
We had an amazing group of volunteers that got to practice what working at a voting station is like and were the reason it all was a possibility.
Here are our schools voting results. As the Green Team, it is very promising looking at the results of this school election. It is clear that youth want climate action and environmental change immediately and know that their votes do hold power.
